Located on Abbey Street, Twilfit House is an existing 1970’s office development. Virtus were engaged by SW3 Capital to achieve planning permission for the demolition of Twilfit House and the construction of a 184 bedroom 3* hotel designed in accordance with the Premier Inn hotel standards.

384 residential units

The scheme consisted initially of 384 residential units including a mix of studio apartment units and also includes ground floor retail and private communal areas with a total area of circa 37,500 sq.m. The development is divided into two equally sized blocks of five stories off a newly formed Grand Parade which will run parallel with the existing Luas bridge structure.

Well Community scheme

Virtus have continued as Project Managers post planning and are currently managing the detailed design stage and construction. Sisk are the appointed main contractor and are due to complete works in May 2021. The development will form part of the first Well Community scheme in Europe promoting and incorporating sustainability and a greener environment.
